Pacquiao vs Bradley Fight on June 9 Pay-Per-View

Manny Pacquiao will face Timothy Bradley Jr. instead of the much expected bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The choice of Bradley was due to the insistence of Floyd to give Pacquiao $40 million guaranteed fight purse but without any share in the pay-per-view income which is estimated to reach more than $100 million.

But Bradley is not a pushover.

The undefeated American fighter holds the record of 28-0, 12 KOs while Manny holds a boxing record of 54-3-2, 38 KOs.

The fight will be for the WBO welterweight championship belt held by Pacquiao.

The Pacquiao vs Bradley fight will happen on June 9 at the MGM in Las Vegas, Nevada and will be aired live via pay-per-view.

Bradley Wants to Exceed Media Expectations Against Manny Pacquiao

Bradley will enter the ring on June 9 as the underdog and with doubts to his fighting style for being labeled as a dirty fighter.

But the undefeated American boxer said that he will prove everyone wrong and will try to exceed all media expectations when he faces Manny Pacquiao.

The Pacquiao vs Bradley fight is going to be held at the MGM Grand and will be for the WBO welterweight crown that Manny is putting in the line.

In an interview during the press tour of the fight at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Tuesday Bradley told the press:

“It’s awesome. Those writers picking me have followed my career. They know what I am capable of. It feels really good to have people believe in you.”

He is also overwhelmed by the attention that the media is giving him with Pacquiao of course as the main star.

“This is life changing. I’ve never been a part of a media tour like this,
but I feel like it’s where I belong. This is where I want to be.

This is the exposure I need to make me a household name.”

He added that wanted to make a bigger bolder name in the sport with people giving him respect. He shared:

“It was always a goal to become a name in boxing, because the name fighters are
the only ones who are financially successful, but the ultimate goal was to get
respect. I wanted to get to a point when I wouldn’t be overlooked.”

And if Bradley’s daughter is to be asked, she got one mission that her dad must accomplish on June 9,

“She told me to kick Manny’s butt. She says she’ll do it if I don’t. My son
(Robert), who is 12, is more realistic. When the fight was made he said ‘Hey,
this is your big chance. Don’t choke.’”
